7/22/25 Capitol Update Extended – Permit to Allow Increased Withdrawals from Alafia River

The Southwest Florida Water Management District Governing Board approved a change to a permit that would allow more water to be withdrawn from the Alafia River to meet the growing demand for water in Hillsborough County.
