7/10/24 Capitol Update Extended – Citizens Property Insurance has Improved Financial Strength

Florida’s largest insurance company, Citizens Property Insurance, reports stronger financial footing compared to last year. At a board meeting executives of Florida’s insurer of last resort say in the long term they want to find ways to move more homeowners out of citizens by raising rates.
