5/5/21 Florida Supreme Court Oral Arguments: In Re: Amendments to Rule Regulating The Florida Bar 5-1.1(g) SC20-1543

The Task Force on the Distribution of IOTA Funds proposes amendments to rule 5-1.1(g) (Trust Accounts; Interest on Trust Accounts (IOTA) Program) of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. The proposed amendments seek to maximize the use of currently available IOTA funds to increase the overall availability of direct civil legal services for low-income Floridians. This Court invited comments from the Task Force and other interested parties. The Court will discuss issues raised from comments received.
