On May 29th, Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers announcing the veto of HB 6017 – Recovery of Damages for Medical Negligence Resulting in Death. He was joined by Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and others.
