5/28/25 Capitol Update Extended – OIR Launches Website on Strengthening Homes Against Hurricanes

Florida’s Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) launched a one-stop-shopping website to get information on how to retrofit your home to better withstand hurricanes and other high wind events. It includes details and application information for programs offered by the state to help pay for some of that work.
