5/19/26 Capitol Update Extended: Legislation Would Expand Access to Veterans Courts

Three veterans graduated from a specialty court program in Leon County that helps veterans accused of nonviolent offenses get treatment as an alternative to jail time. A bill passed by the Legislature could lead to more veterans accessing the program.
