2/4/26 Capitol Update Extended: Lawmakers Consider Bills to Ensure Voters are U.S. Citizens

Legislation in the House and Senate would require Florida to verify that voters are U.S. citizens. Some say providing the documentation to prove citizenship isn’t always easy. The sponsor, Senator Erin Grall, said she thinks the measure makes it easier to register to vote.
