2/4/25 Capitol Update Extended – Florida CTE Programs Target a More Skilled Workforce

A state education official updated a Senate committee on Florida’s efforts to develop a more skilled workforce. The state’s Career and Technical Education program trains students in career fields from manufacturing to computers to hospitality. Students can choose from 750 courses to earn certificates, applied technical diplomas and college credits.
