2/25/25 Capitol Update Extended – New Draft Report Says Central Florida Can Meet Water Demands With Alternatives

An update to the Central Florida Water Initiative shows a growing population will increase demand for water resources by 40 percent and lead to a shortage of available groundwater. But water managers in the area say there are opportunities to meet the demand with alternative water supplies.
