2/24/25 Capitol Update Extended – Florida is Suing Target

The state of Florida is suing Target, the national department store chain. Attorney General James Uthmeier filed a class action lawsuit, claiming Target defrauded and misled shareholders over its diversity and social policies. The store’s 2023 Pride Week campaign prompted boycotts that hurt sales and the company’s market value.
