2/16/26 Capitol Update Extended: House Committee Approves Creation of Statewide Domestic Violence Injunction Verification System

The House Justice Budget Subcommittee passed a bill that would require respondents in domestic violence injunctions to wear GPS devices to allow for monitoring by law enforcement and survivors of domestic abuse. The bill has one more committee stop before a potential floor vote.
