2/16/26 Capitol Update Extended: House Bill Transfers USF Sarasota-Manatee to New College of Florida

The House Higher Education Appropriations Committee passes a bill that would require New College of Florida to absorb the USF Sarasota-Manatee Campus. The bill also allows state universities to set out-of state-tuition rates without approval from the Board of Governors.
