12/11/24 Florida Supreme Court Oral Arguments: Mesac Damas v. State of Florida SC2023-1476 & Mesac Damas v. Secretary, Dept of Corrections SC2024-0565

Damas was convicted and sentenced to death for murdering his wife and five minor children in 2009. This court affirmed Damas’ conviction and sentences in 2018. Damas moved to vacate his conviction and sentences in postconviction proceedings, raising four claims. The postconviction court denied Damas’ motion. This is his appeal.
