12/10/24 Florida Supreme Court Oral Arguments: Donald Otis Williams v. State of Florida SC2023-1000

Donald Otis Williams was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2010 Lake County murder of Janet Patrick. The trial court sentenced Williams to death after the jury recommended the death penalty by a 9-3 vote. In 2017, this Court affirmed Williams’s convictions but reversed his death sentence and ordered a new penalty phase. After being resentenced to death in 2023, Williams now appeals his death sentence and raises four issues.
