11/19/25 Capitol Update Extended – House Criminal Justice Subcommittee Passes Gun Age Bill

For the fourth year in a row, the House Criminal Justice Subcommittee heard a bill that would lower the minimum age to purchase a long gun from 21 to 18. The bill doesn’t currently have a companion in the Senate.
