11/13/24 Capitol Update Extended – Keystone Heights Chain of Lakes Water Restoration Nears Completion

The St. Johns River Water Management District praised everyone involved in the project to get water flowing back into Lake Geneva and others in the Keystone Heights Chain of Lakes. Water levels were so low that in 2017, the lake was little more than a swamp. But a project approved that year by the Legislature may start piping water 17 miles into the lakes by spring 2025.
