On October 9th, Governor Ron DeSantis scheduled a press conference for 9:30 AM on Hurricane Milton at the State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee. He was joined by Florida Division of Emergency Management Executive Director Kevin Guthrie and various state agency heads.
