10/8/25 Capitol Update Extended – House Committee Gets Update on Unaccounted-for State Vehicles

A House committee continued its investigation of how 2,279 state vehicles wound up unaccounted for. The Department of Management Services said discrepancies had been found between statewide and DMS inventory software. But members of the committee said they don’t trust the information unless each agency physically counts the vehicles they operate.
