10/15/24 Office of Insurance Regulation Rate Hearing for National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI)

The purpose of this hearing is to hear testimony from the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) and receive public comment on the proposed workers’ compensation insurance rate change.

In the rate filing it submitted on August 23rd on behalf of Florida’s workers’ compensation insurance companies, NCCI requested an overall average decrease in rate levels of 1% for the voluntary market for all new and renewal workers’ compensation insurance policies written in Florida, effective January 1, 2025.
