On October 10th, Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference at 8:30 AM on Hurricane Milton at the State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee. He was joined by Florida Division of Emergency Management Executive Director Kevin Guthrie, Florida Wildlife and Conservation Commission Executive Director Roger Young, FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell, Florida State Guard Executive Director Colonel Mark Thieme and Major General John D. Haas Adjutant General of Florida.
