1/8/26 Capitol Update Extended – New Year Revives Old Tradition in Apalachicola Bay

Part of the Apalachicola Bay has reopened for oyster harvesting for the first time in five years, helping to keep a generations-old tradition alive. Officials with FWC say they expect restoration efforts in the bay to continue.
