1/8/26 Capitol Update Extended – Florida to Receive Over One Billion Dollars in Rural Health Grants

Governor DeSantis announced that Florida is set to receive over one billion dollars in federal health care grants over the next five years. The funding comes from the Rural Health Transformation Program, a federal grant program that came as part of a tax package signed by President Trump in July.
