1/16/25 Capitol Update Extended – State Regulators and Law Enforcement Urge Tougher Penalties for Illegal Gambling

State gambling regulators and local law enforcement say illegal gambling is wreaking havoc on communities and there’s little incentive for operators to close illegal casinos. They asked members of the House Industries and Professions Subcommittee to consider increasing the penalties for such offenses.
