1/15/25 Capitol Update Extended – Schools Say Cell Phone Ban Reduced Disciplinary Issues

Some school districts testified in the House Student Academic Success Subcommittee that they’re seeing a reduction in disciplinary issues since they banned cell phones in the classroom. However, some districts are having trouble educating students about the potential harm caused by social media.
