1/14/26 Capitol Update Extended – Batterers’ Intervention Bill Passes Through House and Senate Committee Stops

One bill going through the House and Senate would allow batterers’ intervention programs, overseen by the Office of Domestic Violence at the Department of Children and Families, to allow faith-based content. Both bills have two more committee stops before a potential vote in their respective chambers.
