1/14/25 Capitol Update Extended – Study Finds Florida Has the Most Cost-Burdened Renters in the US

In a Senate Community Affairs Committee, Senate staff reported that Florida has more “cost-burdened” renters than any other state. According to a Harvard study, 57% of renters in Florida spend 30-50% of their gross income on rent.
