Job Description:
The Florida Channel, a WFSU-TV operation located in the Florida Capitol building in Tallahassee, is seeking news interns for the Spring 2025 semester. Our paid internship program gives students an opportunity to enhance basic hands-on newsroom experience learned on campus and work closely with our talented, respected and award-winning team of journalists. We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious student or recent graduate who is seeking to gain valuable exposure and experience in a unique, fast-paced, professional state government television news environment.

Interns may eventually be assigned to cover news events independently and to write/produce news elements. The specific length of the internship, minimum hours required to work to receive credits, eligibility and college credits awarded for successful completion of the program must be verified with the student’s faculty advisor.
