Job Description:

With offices and studio located on the 9th floor of the state Capitol building in Tallahassee, FL, The Florida Channel (TFC) produces programming covering all three branches of state government, and is Florida’s primary source for live, unedited coverage of the Governor and Cabinet, the Legislature, and the Supreme Court. TFC programming is carried by PBS stations throughout Florida as one of their digital sub-channels and delivered statewide by satellite to other program distributors. Live streamed events and archived content are also available online at https://TheFloridaChannel.org

Responsibilities

This position will serve as a robotics camera director for legislative committee weeks and session coverage. Duties include operation of robotic television equipment, studio camera operation and other production duties as assigned.
Other support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of related/appropriate experience.
Essential knowledge and skills include running a studio camera.
Experience operating robotic cameras a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail; good organizational skills; computer literacy.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
