- The full House of Representatives approved a bill that would eliminate Florida’s no-fault PIP auto insurance system.
- Senator Frank Artiles (R-Miami) resigned after apologizing on the Senate floor for directing vulgar, derogatory terms at other Senators at a private Tallahassee club Monday night.
- The Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission voted 4 to 3 not to authorize bear hunting for the next two years.
