The Board of Governors of the State University System got performance reports from university presidents.
The Florida Supreme Court gave the Governor, Secretary of State and CFO a deadline of June 26 to respond to homeowners asking the court to overturn the Governor’s veto of $37.3 million to compensate them for thousands of residential citrus trees the state destroyed in an effort to eradicate citrus canker starting in 2000.
Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam invited wounded veterans to register for free recreational trips offered by Florida’s Operation Outdoor Freedom program.
