From Key West to St. Augustine, the black church has played a significant role in the African-American community and the history of Florida. Some of the first black churches built by slaves are still standing; however, many worshipers are fighting to keep their churches relevant in the 21st century. Spiritual leaders and worshipers from various denominations reflect on their unique heritage as they remain focused on saving souls, strengthening families and rebuilding communities in part two of this program.
