Florida experiences an average of 6,000 wildfires each year.  But many fires in the state are set on purpose – and not by arsonists.  Called “prescribed burns,” these fires are set for environmental, agricultural and safety reasons.  Examine the use of prescribed burns and why this practice is drawing heat as Florida’s population increases.
