01/08/2001 Florida Crossroads – The Ballot Box

In the aftermath of the 2000 presidential election, the eyes of the world turned to Florida as the Sunshine State struggled to tally its votes. In reaction, some Floridians are now calling for uniform voting procedures and reform of the state’s election laws. In this program, the Florida Crossroads team examines voting requirements and historical precedents, and investigates just how the rules may change before Floridans take their next trip to “The Ballot Box”.
