Each year, Floridians produce between 25 and 30 million tons of garbage. That means every man, woman, and child tosses out about seven pounds of trash per day. All of that garbage must go somewhere, and some of the new methods for disposing of refuse may surprise you. In this Florida Crossroads, producer Georgia Davis teams up with Florida Public Radio’s Buzz Conover to follow the garbage trail and to spend some time “Talking Trash”.
