Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Today’s topics include:

• The House Speaker and Senate President announce budget allocations – an agreement on the bottom line for the state budget.
• Senators and Representatives negotiate in conference throughout the week to try to hammer out an agreement on gambling laws.
• The Senate bill to remove the “alcohol wall” between grocery stores and liquor sales was approved by the full House by a margin of one vote, and heads to the Governor.
