11/13/2006 Florida Crossroads – Preserving Florida

A passion by Floridians to preserve historic places and natural habitat gave birth to the Florida Communities Trust Project in 2000. Today, millions of acres, untouchable by development, are a symbol of the preservation plan. From a quiet peaceful park tucked in between high rises in downtown Tampa to a place fit for a princess, Florida Crossroads travels to some of these places that are a part of “Preserving Florida”.
