August 2004 brought the first of four hurricanes to tear through Florida in six consecutive weeks. As a result, every school in the state was forced to close for at least one day, and some for the entire school year. In this edition of Florida Crossroads, producer Meredith Moses explores how schools rallied together in the face of adversity. Teachers, parents and students share their stories of struggling to rebuild their lives, homes and schools, even after hurricanes left them with “No Place to Learn”.
