09/10/2018 Florida Crossroads – Hurricane Irma: One Year Later
The world watched as Hurricane Irma struck Florida not once but twice in September of 2017. While parts of the Florida Keys and Southwest Florida will never look the same, the powerful storm also prompted the largest evacuation in Florida history, devastated Florida’s agriculture community with its track up the middle of the state and caused unexpected flooding in Northeast Florida. In Hurricane Irma: One Year later, our team of producers recalls what happened after Irma and revisits some of those hardest hit areas one year later.
