Capitol Update – Week Ending 12/01/2023

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  This week’s topics include:     

• The Florida Supreme Court ruled that Marsy’s Law does not give all crime victims the right to have their name withheld from the public. 
• FHP Troopers say state law needs to be changed to crack down on “drugged” drivers, not just “drunk” drivers.
• The Tall Timbers conservation group showed what happens to land approved for the state’s Rural and Family Lands Program.
