Capitol Update – Week Ending 02/12/2021

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  Topics this week include:  

• The number of coronavirus deaths in Florida dropped as more vaccines were administered at more sites.  
• Members of the Florida Legislative Black Caucus proposed a set of bills aimed at what they call “fair and just policing.”
• Flags will be flown at half-staff on February 14 to honor victims of the Parkland school shooting on that day three years ago.
