Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  Topics this week include:

• As Florida’s COVID-19 case total surpassed 1.5 million, House and Senate committees quizzed state health and emergency officials about problems with vaccine distribution. 
• Lawmakers gathered at the Capitol for the first of a series of committee weeks before session also reviewed budget shortfall predictions.
• The first bill to pass a House committee aims to protect businesses from COVID-19 liability lawsuits.
