Capitol Update – Week Ending 04/10/2020

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government. Topics this week include:

• The state prepares field hospitals and talks about treatment options as coronavirus deaths in Florida surpass the 300 mark.
• As more coronavirus cases are reported in Florida’s prisons, some inmates and lawmakers are calling on the Governor to release those over the age of 60 and those who are medically vulnerable.
• Even with two major religious events happening, leaders are asking worshipers to celebrate at home to prevent further spread of the virus.
