Capitol Update – Week Ending 01/05/2018

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  Topics this week include:

• Preparations at the Capitol for the Legislative Session to begin January 9.
• A review of new laws that went into effect January 1, including one that would allow people to fill multiple prescriptions at the same time.
• State response to the winter storm that brought snow, sleet and freezing temperatures to parts of Florida.
