Capitol Update – Week Ending 12/01/2017

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government. Topics this week include:

• As hurricane season ends, state leaders take stock of Florida’s economic and physical recovery.

• Committees of the Constitution Revision Commission advance several proposed amendments, including a proposal to change the way some local officials are chosen and another that would eliminate greyhound racing in Florida.

• The Florida A&M Board of Trustees voted to make Dr. Larry Robinson the university’s 12th permanent president.
