Capitol Update – Nightly During Session

Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Today’s topics include:

A record-breaking $101 billion state budget was “put on the table” for all to see, setting the stage for session to end on time.
The Senate rejected the bill that would allow early stages of searches for university presidents to be kept from the public, though it’s possible the vote could be reconsidered.
