Capitol Update – Nightly During Session – Wednesday, February 26, 2020

Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Topics today include:

• The Senate Rules Committee passed a bill that will make it more difficult for citizens to get proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot.
• A House committee passed a bill that would allow pharmacists to test for and treat a variety of diseases and conditions.
• The full Senate passed the House bill addressing excessive spending and other issues by the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence, sending the bill to the Governor.
