Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Topics today include:

• House and Senate committees approved school choice bills, over objections that they allow state funds to go to schools that discriminate against LGBTQ families.
• A Senate committee approved a bill that would allow pharmacists to test for and treat influenza.
• High school students sang at the Historic Capitol to celebrate Black History Month.
