- Governor DeSantis, lawmakers and families gathered outside the Capitol as a bell rang 17 times to honor each of the 17 people killed one year ago today at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
- Schools in Broward County and around the state observed moments of silence at 10:17 am and performed community service to honor the Parkland shooting victims and their families.
- A House committee concluded that legislation will be needed to clarify eligibility for felons to have their voting rights restored, but the Chair urged people who believe they’re eligible under Amendment 4 to continue to register to vote.
