Miami Beach is considered one of the most glamorous cities in the world today. But that wasn’t always the case. Ocean Drive was once lined with old, dilapidated hotels from the 1930’s. In fact, the area was slated for demolition. Florida Crossroads shares the story of how — just in time — a group of residents who saw beauty in the unique architecture of these buildings — rescued these “Tropical Treasures”.
