Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Today’s topics include:

• The full House approved a series of tax cuts, including a bill that would let voters decide if the homestead exemption should be increased.
• House and Senate conferees meet to try to resolve more differences in their approach to gaming laws.
• By a vote of 58 to 57, the full House approved the “alcohol wall” bill, a bill also approved by the full Senate.
